I woke up this morning feeling like I’d been hit by a truck. I’ve been fighting off my daughter’s cold for the past few days, but it finally caught up to me. Alas, I don’t have the luxury of resting in bed, so I got up, got ready for the day, drove my daughter to preschool, got a few hours of work done and then, at lunchtime, I turned my attention to my December Daily album. (The benefits of working from home!)
I have very little energy, so I needed to keep Day 8 as simple as possible. I printed a couple of photos, added some typewritten journaling on a 6×4 card, glued down a few quick embellishments, and called it done.
And now if you’ll excuse me, I need to make another cup of tea. And maybe buy stock in the company that produces my cold medicine, because I have a feeling my family will be keeping them in business this season.
